Inclusion/Submission Rules
- Each submission must accurately represent itself within the title and description areas of the submission form.
- Web sites should be complete and functional.
- All submissions must contain meaningful content and be related to a business, organization or individual within Northern Nevada. Other web site pages, that feature valuable content directly related to our area, may also be eligible for inclusion. Most web sites can be listed in both their regional "By Cities" category as well as their appropriate, subject category.
- Submissions into overly generalized categories, or inappropriate submission of web sites into multiple categories will diminish the quality of the directory and so may be excluded from the entire directory. Some web sites can appropriately be placed into more than two categories. Please e-mail the editor with your request to be included into additional categories or to request new categories be created.
- No pop-ups. Sites that utilize off-site pop-ups will be excluded.
Web Site Criteria
- Generally speaking, we attempt to only include web sites that most Christian parents would allow their children to view. If your web site has things that might be disturbing or offensive in a conservative family setting, your web site will probably not be included in this directory.
- More specifically, web sites that strongly reference sexual issues, which are of a mature nature and that many parents would not want their kids independently viewing, or web sites that contain nudity, or exposition or reference of sexually explicit materials, especially outside of a medical context, or web sites that contain profanity or crude language, will not accommodate our target audience and will be excluded.
- Sites that contain hate rhetoric, or demeaning slurs, or any advocacy of harm against innocent individuals will be omitted.
- Sites that promote or facilitate illegal activities will be omitted.
- Although it is our policy to screen web sites that contain materials that might be objectionable in a family setting, we have no affiliation to the authors and cannot be responsible for the content of any web site listed in this directory.
- Finally, the above Web Site Criteria are given as a guide. We do not promise that we will include or exclude any submission, regardless of its compliance with the above stated criteria or worthiness of inclusion. All decisions concerning web site inclusion, or continued inclusion, within this directory, are solely within the discretion of our editorial staff and are final.
