Which web sites are eligible for listing
in multiple categories?
Although many businesses offer some services or products that could easily be construed as relating to an additional category of business, most web site submissions will only be excepted into the one category wherein the business is predominantly engaged.
Only if your products or services profoundly relate to multiple categories will they be considered for multiple directory categories.
Additionally, the web site must contain an individual page devoted to the subject matter of the additional category. Only such uniquely devoted pages will be considered for listings in additional directory categories.
For example:
Because the Peppermill Hotel Casino business would be of interest to folks searching for casino entertainment as well as others looking for a hotel, their web site is listed in both categories. The Peppermill also operates several restaurants that are clearly represented on individual pages of their web site. Each of those web pages would be acceptable submissions for additional listings within their appropriate restaurant sub-categories.
We recognize that there are some gray areas in such decisions and apologize if the ambiguities are a little frustrating. Our main criteria in deciding whether a web site belongs in multiple categories or not is to decide what will best serve the people who are searching the directory.
